INTERNAL MEDICINE
There is no one-size-fits-all in medicine, and the patient is ultimately the best decision-maker for their own health, with all of the information available to them.
I strive to be a great listener and to ask good questions, so that I can partner with my patients on their health journeys. I think it is important to understand where patients are coming from in order to advise them on medical issues. There is no one-size-fits-all in medicine, and the patient is ultimately the best decision-maker for their own health, with all of the information available to them.
I am personally passionate about preventative medicine, and the impact of exercise and nutrition on our health. Long ago I worked as a personal trainer, and more recently I have supplemented my medical education with nutrition education classes. I am also currently becoming board certified in Obesity Medicine.
I was born and raised in Tacoma, WA, trained in Oregon and California, and spent a year living in China along the way as well. My husband and I love getting our two kids active with hiking, skiing, and biking, and we’re excited to embark upon more adventurous travel with them as well.
